About Me as a Freelance Software Developer

My Story

I was the kind of kid who didn’t just use computers — I wanted to understand how they worked.

At 11 years old, I joined an activity where I had to assemble a computer from scratch: a Pentium 100.

A year later, at 12, I was already experimenting with creating video games using a tool called Div2.

During high school, my final research project combined electronics and software: I connected a remote-controlled car to a computer by wiring its controller through the serial port. That project introduced me to resistors, transistors, and the idea that real-world objects could be controlled through code.

Naturally, I went on to study Telecommunications Engineering, where the subjects I enjoyed most were always the same: software and electronics.

From Hardware Curiosity to Professional Software Engineering

When I finished my degree, I began working as a freelance system administrator (Windows Server) while completing a Master’s in Cross-Platform Applications.

That master was the point where I fully shifted my focus to software development.

I’ve now spent more than 10 years working as a freelance full-stack developer, collaborating with entrepreneurs, businesses, engineers and founders across many different industries.

Throughout these years I’ve strengthened three qualities that define the way I work today:

  • Deep analytical thinking — understanding complex problems clearly

  • Empathy — listening to clients and translating needs into real solutions

  • Problem-solving — designing simple, effective architectures for difficult scenarios

I like to work closely and transparently with my clients, always aiming to deliver the best solution for their needs.

Sharing Technology With Others

Beyond my professional work, I’ve also collaborated with educational initiatives, teaching programming and electronics (Arduino, Scratch), and helping promote coding in under-resourced communities — including educational work in Guatemala.

I believe that programming is not only a profession, but a pathway to opportunity, a tool to improve people’s lives, and a way to empower others through knowledge.

Today

Today I combine all of this background — software, electronics, hardware integrations, problem-solving and constant learning — to create reliable, efficient digital products that help businesses grow.

I’m continuously exploring, experimenting, learning and building.

If you want to know more about me as a freelance software developer, the short version is simple: I help companies, startups and entrepreneurs turn ideas into high-quality digital products. I design and build web applications, mobile apps, APIs, dashboards and custom software that require reliability, scalability and solid technical architecture. My work combines more than ten years of experience in full-stack development with a strong background in electronics, hardware-software integration and problem-solving. I enjoy collaborating closely with clients, understanding their goals and creating solutions that make a real impact on their business.
